"When it comes to good schools in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Bedrock International School is one of them." This was said by the Managing Director of the institution during one of the briefings the management had with the staff. Located along Sani Abacha expressway, opposite Yenagoa Gardens, Bedrock International School was founded in 2008.

Emmanuella Belema Cosmus, a very brilliant student of Junior High School Two (JHS 2) are among the three that decided to surprise the school with some beautiful strings of poetry. Poetry, is indeed a collection of powerful emotions in tranquility. Just like a painter would normally use colours to express his thoughts, feelings and ideas, poets use words so to do and here is Emmanuella doing just same.
She titled her poem My Home.
It is a place of culture
It is a place of hope
It is a place of love
Where trust never dies.
It is a place of peace
It is a place of joy
It is a place of unity
And it makes you feel that you really matter.

Domotimi Lloyd, another good and bright brain of B.I.S, has also expressed in lines of poetry what he feels is the matter with LOVE. A popular statement concerning love is that it is blind. That's a view in oneone particu dimension, however, looking at it from the biblical principles, love is God Himself. To say that Love is blind would therefore be tantamount to saying that God is blind. Trust yourself, you wouldn't dare say God is blind. Would you?
Alright. Here is what Domotimi has to say about Love in his poem titled LOVE
Love
You don't know when love will come.
It comes and goes like a wave in the water
When it comes, you feel happy
When it goes, you feel sad.
And that's how love works.

Kelly Abraham, in her poetic expedition, told the world what it feels like to have a good mother. A mother who adviced her with nothing but the truth. The qualities of good woman and mother are expressly stated in the poem. Even the Bible says a good wife is a crown to her husband, but a bad one is like a rottenness in his bones. That's a metaphorical comparison between a wife and a crown, with the crown signifying honour and glory. So, every good wife is to be a joy, honour and glory to her husband.

My lovely mother
Is the best woman on earth
She is so nice to me
And every one around me
She tells me the truth at all times
She takes care of me every time

Wow, this kids are great and are growing up to be powerful poets. Every big picture starts with a tiny speck of drawing. This might be their tiny speck to greatness in the world of Poetry.
