Breaking: Nigeria 3:2 Libya

Nigeria beat Libya 3:2 to qualify for the group stage E in the African Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria, on Saturday 13th October, 2018, trounced the Mediterranean Knights 4-0 in Uyo.
Odion Ighalo netted a superb hat-trick, before Samuel Kalu rounded off scoring with a stunning goal to fire Nigeria to a 4:0 win over Libya fews days ago.

A back to back win against Libya was what Nigeria need to move an inch forward in securing a place for the Nation's Cup especially when South Africa ended up in a goalless draw against Seychelles.

Nigeria started in impressive fashion and was leading 2:0 before the Mediterranean Knights bounced back with a goal to make it 2:1 for a half time score.

And in the second half, the Mediterranean Knights posed some threatening pressure on the Eagles and finally levelled the score to 2:2.

After a stern contest of either sides to see the back of the net of their opponents, Odion Ighalo finally finds the net of Libya in the 81st minute and fired Nigeria to a 3:2 win ahead of South Africa who played a goaless draw earlier.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are top in their Group E with nine points, South Africa is second, Libya is third with four points, while Seychelles is fourth with just a point.

The group will next meat again in November 16, with Nigerian been hosted by South Africa.

Hon. Fafi storms Okoloba and Sabagreia Communities with Flood relief materials.

Hon. Wisdom Fafi, the flag bearer of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, for the 2019 House of Assembly elections, storms communities in Kolokuma Opokuma Opokuma Constituency 2 of Bayelsa State with flood relief items. Fafi has since Wednesday 17, begun the distribution of flood relief items to the communities in the KOLGA Constituency 2 which include, Opokuma, Okoloba, Sabagreia, and Igbedi, and it seems he's still on the ride to supplying more items.
